Isn’t this another email system? It looks the same to me? Why another one?
VOIEE is another kind of email system. Unlike the other systems you do not need a computer or Internet access to send messages you can do it through normal telephones or cell phones.
Yes it looks the same because we thought that everyone is used to these email systems and therefore using VOIEE will be easy.
There are several reasons why using VOIEE would be more advantageous than your conventional email systems. Since its voice and not text its more personal. You can also relate more easily to a voice than to a mere text. The list can go on?. But think you get the gist of it.
Telephones or Cell Phones; great but is that not expensive? How can I send a message to someone who is outside my local call limits (say another place, state or country)?
No it is not expensive. All you need to do is call your country specific(local) VOIEE number and key in the V-PIN for that person. We will make sure that it reaches that person irrespective of his location.
I signed up for the service using my yahoo Id, but I do not see any mails from VOIEE in my inbox. Do you not support these email accounts?
We support all email accounts. If you are using any of the popular email services such as gmail, yahoo mail, hotmail etc. please check your bulk (or junk mail) folder, you will find mails from VOIEE there. Select the mail and say “Not Junk” and also add the email address to your address book. Next time onwards the mails will come into your inbox. (Please make sure that you add the email address to your address book)
I have signed up for the services, what do I do next?
Congratulations and welcome to VOIEE. Once you login to the application, you can define a unique identifier. This is called the V-PIN, which is your identity in the VOIEE universe. It is similar to your email Id (or for that matter your cell phone number). Now people can leave messages for you using this V-PIN via our VOIEE numbers. I have signed up for the services, how long does it take to activate my account?
Have you validated (or confirmed) your sign-in email ID? If yes then you can start accessing your account immediately. If not please login to your email account (provided during the sign-up ), click on the link that has been sent by us and validate your email. Once this is done then you can start using your account immediately.
Why don't I get my message notifications as sms?
Have you entered your mobile email ? If not then please go to your profile and update it with this ID. If yes, then check if the ID is correct, you may want to double check this with your mobile service provider.
How much storage space do you provide for my messages?
We provide 50 MB of space for each account. This approximately accomodates about 40 1-minute messages.
What will be the size of a one minute message?
Typically it will be around 1.1 MB.
How long do you store my messages? And what if I do not want you to delete my message?
You can store your messages as long as you want, we do not delete any messages.
What happens to my new messages if my mailbox is full?
Your messages are safe with us. The system will inform you about the number of new messages waiting in the queue. You can delete some of the old messages and make space for the new ones.
